Betty June Wofford

Betty June Wofford died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Stanton, Texas.

Betty was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Southard, Okla., to John and Eythel Redden. She married Allen Wofford in 1945. She worked as a beautician and was a member of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by one son, Terry Wofford and wife Lora of Big Spring, Texas; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Canton Cemetery with the Rev. Kristen Melton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home of Canton.
