Betty Lloyd Mitchel, 82, of San Angelo, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her residence. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Robert Allen Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Cushing Cemetery in Cushing, Texas.

She was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Wink, Texas, to Doll and George Cooper. She grew up in Reklaw, Texas. She moved to Big Spring in 1952 from Denton.

She married Blaine Mitchell in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 2004. She married Glyn Mitchel on Oct. 5, 2004. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Glyn Mitchel of San Angelo; two sons, Rodger Lloyd and wife Betty Jean of Big Spring and Rick Lloyd and wife Leslie Ann of Austin; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one husband; two brothers; and three sisters.
