SNYDER â No one was bigger than Deverell Biggs in Western Texas Collegeâs 88-77 win over Howard College Monday.
The guardâs 31 points powered the Westerners past the Hawks, but Howard College head coach Mark Adams isnât quick to forget the other four players who scored in double figures against his team.
âIt was a great team effort so youâd hate to give too much credit to one player when the team played so well,â he said.
Biggs was 10 of 14 from the field, 5 of 8 from the 3-point line and a thorn in the Hawksâ side all night.
Monzaigo Williams had 14 points, Reggie Slaton had 11, Lonnie Robinson had 16 and Brandon Johnson had 10 in the WTC win.
