Bruce Edmund Hicks, 60, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. Bruce was an avid photographer and had worked for CNN and KLBK Television in Lubbock.

Survivors include his parents, Harry and Josephine Brinkman of Big Spring; two sisters, Mary Jones of Jackson, Miss. and Carol Wiel of Pittsburg, Penn.; three daughters, Lisa, Jamie Jo and Kathryn; his sweetheart, Amparo Tijerina of Big Spring and her children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Lanspery; and an infant daughter, Bonnie.
