BSHS band to perform Sunday

December 7, 2013

Icy weather may have delayed Santa's busy weekend in the Crossroads area but the public can still kick off the season with a little Christmas cheer.
The Big Spring High School band will hold its annual Christmas concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium. The program will include a selection of Christmas songs and this will also be the last time for the public to hear the band's award winning marching program which includes selections from the musical “Tommy.”
Concert goers are encouraged to bring canned food which will be donated to help restock the Salvation Army's food pantry.
