BSISD board to hear redistricting plan

July 20, 2011

After months of effort, Big Spring Independent School District officials believe they have a redistricting plan that will pass federal muster.

BSISD trustees will hear details of the proposed redistricting when they hold their monthly meeting at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the high school board room.

Members of the BSISD Redistricting Advisory Committee will present details on the plan, which was mandated by population and ethnic changes reflected in the 2010 Census.
