BSISD committee, board meet Thursday

Big Spring Independent School District officials hope to put the final touches on plans for new single-member district boundaries Thursday.
BSISD's Redistricting Advisory Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday to hammer out final recommendations for the new boundaries, then will present those findings to the board of trustees when that body meets in special session at 5:15 p.m.
Both meetings will be held in the Big Spring High School board room. The public is invited to provide input at both meetings.
