Buchanan anniversary

Sammie and Connie Ford Buchanan of Big Spring will celebrate their 50th anniversary June 1, 2011.
The couple married in Coahoma and had two children, Sammie Don Buchanan Jr. and wife, Paris, of Austin; and Vickie Buchanan Engel and husband, Todd, of San Angelo. They have three grandchildren, Rae Dawn Buchanan of San Antonio; Amy Catherine Engel, who is attending Texas Tech in Lubbock and Alyson Renae Engel of San Angelo.
Their children consider them to be loving and supportive parents and their granddaughters have many fond memories of spending summer days with Nanny and Pa. They are both loyal Texas Tech fans.
