The Coahoma varsity softball team made their way to Snyder on Monday where they took on the Haskell Indians, who are the No. 1 seed in their district (2A), for a practice match to get warmed up for their upcoming playoff games. Despite a five-run deficit in the fourth inning, the Bulldogettes nearly came all the way back, but eventually fell to the Indians with a final score of 6-5.
Coming up, the Coahoma softball team will make their way to Abilene Christian University for their first playoff match against the Early Longhorns this Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
“Early won their district, and we know that they are a good team and can make plays,” said Orosco. “But so are we. We just have to make them make those plays, and get the outs that they hit to us.”
