Law enforcement officials in Colorado City are searching for a 23-year-old mother and her child after investigators say she was reported missing Wednesday.
Reports made to the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office indicate Brittany Hill and her 2-year-old daughter, Khloe Wheeler, were last seen Wednesday around 3 p.m. in Hill's 2002 blue-gray Toyota Highlander.
According to investigators, there is a white cross-shaped sticker and a decal reading "In Memory of Jessica Castillo" on the back of the vehicle.
Hill is described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall with red and black hair and brown eyes. Her daughter is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, according to Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs.
Hill also has a leopard spot tattoo on her left shoulder, as well as lip and nose rings, according to police reports. Both her and her daughter are caucasian.
According to unconfirmed reports, Hill was last seen in the company of her boyfriend, whose identity has not been released to the press at this time.
Colorado City has come under national scrutiny during the past two years due to another missing person case, as the investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Hailey Dunn gained national attention.
Dunn disappeared from her home in Colorado City on Dec. 27, 2010. The case has remained at an apparent standstill for more than a year.
