Caleb S. Hector, 19, of Big Spring, died Friday, Sept.27, 2013, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family received friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Spring Creek Fellowship with Pastor Lloyd Wells and Pastor Derrick Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Caleb was born Oct. 12, 1993, in Big Spring, Texas, to Jimmy and Sandra (Wells) Hector. He had been a lifetime resident of Howard County and had attended Forsan schools. He worked as a ranch hand. He was a member of Forsan Baptist Church and was affiliated with Circle 6 Baptist Camp in Stanton.

Caleb is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Sandra (Wells) Hector of Big Spring; one brother, David Hector of Big Spring; two sisters, Erica Rios of Big Spring and Nikki Rodriguez of Levelland; and his grandparents, Carl and Pearl Wells of Big Spring and Barbara Hix of Wickett.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David S. Hector in December 1992 and Larry Hix in March 2007.

The family suggests memorials to Circle 6 Baptist Camp, P.O. Box 976, Stanton, Texas 79782.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Wells, Roger Park, Will Gill, Shane "Cowboy" Sheets, Chris Rios and Stacy Munoz.
