Charles W."Mo" Utley, 94, of Big Spring, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Raul Garcia, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Coahoma, Texas, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at the funeral home.

He was born April 10, 1919, in Oran, Mo., and married Jessie Thomas Sept. 15, 1945, in Brownwood, Texas.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sue Keller and husband, John of Big Spring; a son, John L. Utley and wife, Fredye of Paducah, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 50, Coahoma, Texas 79511.
