Cheryl Yvonne Johnson Clark, 55, of Big Spring, formerly of San Angelo, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ in San Angelo, Texas, with Superintendent Johnny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 6, 1956, in San Angelo, Texas, to Emma (Giddings) Johnson and Earl T. Johnson. She was a 1974 graduate of Central High School. She married Clyde Clark on May 10, 2007, in San Angelo.

She was employed by HEB as a cake decorator in San Angelo and Big Spring for a total of 18 years. She was a member of Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ while in San Angelo. She had been a resident of Big Spring for four years and was a member of New Life Ministry.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Clark of Big Spring; one son, Aaron Henderson of Coleman; stepdaughter, Scefenia Clark of Dallas; stepson, Malachi Clark of Dallas; seven grandchildren; her mother, Emma Johnson of San Angelo; a sister, Cecelia Johnson of San Angelo; a favorite nephew, Dorian Johnson of Dallas; four uncles and two aunts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl T. Johnson.
