City seeks funding for roads

Big Spring city officials have plans to build just under six miles of roads to connect the local airpark to the U.S. Highway 87 reliever route. Now, they just have to find the money to pay for it.

The city plans to apply for federal grants that would pay for a large part of the road construction, estimated to cost at least $2.7 million.
