City teeming with activities, officials say

Who says nothing happens in Big Spring and Howard County?

Anyone who attended Tuesday's State of the Community Series luncheon – Part 1: Money at Work, got a detailed report. Presentations from the city of Big Spring, Howard County, Colorado River Municipal Water District, Howard College and Big Spring Economic Development Corporation focused on the different areas each entity is working on.

“Repetition was heard, but that only means that we are working together,” City Manager Gary Fuqua said. “One entity can't do it alone. It requires partnerships and that is being seen here.”
