City workers repairing water main break

January 28, 2014

Cold weather has claimed its first water main of the year, city officials said this morning.

Residents in the Kentwood area of Big Spring were without water this morning after a 20-inch line broke around midnight, said Johnny Womack, interim public works director.

Repair work was expected to be complete by the end of the day, Womack added.
