Clarence Henkell, 69, of Big Spring died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at his residence. Private family services will be at a later date.

He was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Snyder to Billie and David Henkell. He married Dee Lecroy on April 30, 1965, in Big Spring. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a truck driver and worked for Western Container from 1991 until 2011 He lived most of his life in Big Spring and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Dee of Big Spring; one son, Kevin Henkell of Midland; one daughter, T. J. Dunnam of Big Spring; and five grandchildren.
