Claudette Hartley

Claudette Hartley was called home to our Lord and Savior July 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July, 7, 2014, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring. Interment will follow at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring.

Claudette was born June 2, 1936, to Claude and Bernice Harper in Pittsburg, Texas. Claudette was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family more than anything! Her three grandchildren were the light in her life.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leonard John Hartley of Midland, Texas; her son, Ty Hartley and his wife, Shelley of Greenwood, Texas; three grandchildren, Nathan Hartley of San Angelo, Texas; Brenna Hartley of Greenwood; and Brandon McFarland and his wife, Bethany of Lubbock,Texas; her brother, Hollis Harper and his wife, Mary of Tucson, Ariz.; and their daughter, Terrie Simon; and her mother-in-law, Edna Hayworth of Big Spring.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Judith Ann McFarland.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 2304 W. Wadley, Midland, TX, 79705.
