Clifford L. Stovall

Clifford L. Stovall, 87, of Blanco, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

Clifford was born in Tipton, Okla. to Walter L. and Tennie Leta (Orbison) Stovall. He married Cola Mae Pritchard on March 24, 1946 in Frederick, Okla., soon after Clifford joined the U. S. Air Force. He retired after 23 years of service and attaining the rank of Chief Master Sergean. Following his career with the U. S. Air Force, he was the plant manager for the Big Spring State School. He was a member of the Blanco Hills Church of Christ. He loved music and taught all of his children to sing.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cola Mae Stovall, sons, Terry Stovall and wife Judy of Gainesville, Ga.; Phillip Stovall of Blanco and Jeff Stovall and wife Kelly of La Port, Texas; daughters, Cheryl Salmon and Leslie Stovall, both of Blanco, a brother, Jack Ray Stovall and wife Dorothy of Big Spring; six grandchildren; Eli Stovall and wife Emily, Brian Stovall, Miker Stovall, Savannah Stovall, Aimee Perry and Matthew Stovall; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Leta Severnes, and a son Paul Stovall in 1983.

Visitation will be Friday Feb. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home, Blanco, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Feb. 9, 2013. nterment follow in Blanco Cemetery.
