Clinic offers health care option

July 8, 2011

Howard County and surrounding residents now have one more option when it comes to health care.

The Howard County Health Center, located at 1300 S. Gregg, officially opened its doors this week. The center provides general health care, including pap smears and well health checks.

According to Clinic Manager Joyce Nelson, the clinic also has a focus on diabetes.

“We treat anyone from infants to adults,” Nelson said.

To make an appointment, call 432-517-4557. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except from noon to 1 p.m. when the facility is closed for lunch.
