Coahoma ISD announces kindergarten registration

Coahoma Elementary School is offering parents the opportunity to pre-register children for kindergarten. Kindergarten registration for 2011-2012 kindergarten classes will be held Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

To be eligible for this program, a child must be five years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2011. The district provides full-day kindergarten.

Students currently enrolled in the district’s pre-kindergarten program are automatically registered for kindergarten. The student’s permanent folder, which contains the student’s birth certificate and immunization record will be moved to the next grade level.
