Coahoma ISD postpones homecoming activities, moves football game

September 28, 2012

COAHOMA — A swamped football field has forced Coahoma Independent School District officials to radically alter homecoming plans for tonight.

Superintendent Amy Jacobs said tonight's football game vs. Ballinger has been moved to Forsan High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Coahoma High School homecoming activities scheduled for tonight have been postponed. The queen and king coronations will be held at halftime of the Coahoma-Stanton football game Oct. 12, while the homecoming dance also has been postponed and will be held at a later date.

At Stanton, the crowning of the homecoming queen will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the high school gymnasium, school officials said.
