College board to hear project updates

January 21, 2012

Howard College board meeting Monday in the Tumbleweed Room

The bond project may essentially be over, but updates are still coming in.
“Even though the bond project has for the most part been completed, there are a few updates to be given,” Dr. Cheryl Sparks, Howard College president, said.
Those updates and information on the Early College High School initiative are among the items Howard College board members will discuss when they convene at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Updates will also be presented on campus water wells on campus and the G.C. Broughton Agriculture Complex/Phase Two.
As for the Early College High School initiative, nothing new has really developed, according to Sparks.
Other items on the agenda include:
• discussion of the San Angelo campus project, Smith Boulevard Extension and campus master plan
• election update
• audit report
HC board meetings are held in the Tumbleweed Room, located in the student union building.
