Commission: Reliever route a priority

July 17, 2014

The Texas Transportation Commission released a statement Wednesday identifying the U.S. 87 Big Spring bypass one of the priority projects in West Texas.

The statement identifies the U.S. 87 Big Spring Bypass in Howard County and the Lamesa Southern Cross Connector from SH 349 to U.S. 87 in Dawson County as “projects, which are located on the Ports to Plains Corridor, will address downtown congestion and improve mobility.”
