Completion of Highway 87 project pushed back to early summer

Completion of one portion of the U.S. 87 reliever route has been pushed back a few months, officials with the Texas Department of Transportation said.

Material delays have cause crews to revise estimates of when work on U.S. 87 south of Big Spring will be completed. A TxDOT spokesperson said the project is now estimated to be completed sometime early this summer.
