Council adopts tougher parking ordinance

Front lawns will not be acceptable parking spots for cars in the very near future.

Delivering on a promise to toughen up the city’s parking ordinances, the Big Spring City Council approved the first reading of a new law calling for more expensive fines and fewer exceptions for residents parking their cars in the front yard.
