Council to consider force policy

December 9, 2013

Big Spring City Council will consider a resolution spelling out the city’s stance on excessive force by law enforcement personnel when they meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday
The city recently received grant money from the Texas Department of Agriculture, officials said. As part of the agreement on accepting those funds, the city is required to adopt a formal resolution defining its stance on excessive force by law enforcement.
