he Big Spring City Council approved a $5 entry fee for the new municipal aquatic center on a 6-1 vote Tuesday night, paving the way for the facility to open its doors to the public in a few weeks.
The vote was one of the last for outgoing city council members Stephanie Horton and Joann Staulcup, who both voted in favor of the ordinance. Council members Gloria McDonald, Craig Olson, Terry Hansen and Mayor Tommy Duncan also gave the measure a nod of approval.
District 2 Councilman Manuel Ramirez Jr. voted against the fee — which is more than double the fee charged before the municipal swimming pool was closed — urging the council to reconsider.

I would like recent articles on the drinking water. I just moved here and heard from a neighbor that we are not to drink the water and it is very hard and needs softening. Where can I get a copy of the Municipal water test results?
