Council puts stamp on city pay increases

Big Spring city employees will have slightly wider than normal smiles on their faces when they get their first paychecks in June.

City council members put the final touches on a 6 percent across-the-board pay raises for all city employees by formally approving a revised pay schedule for police officers and firefighters during their Tuesday meeting.
