Council sets up enterprise fund to isolate various sanitation issues

Big Spring residents will soon have a clearer picture of just how much money is being spent on trash collection and other sanitation issues.

The Big Spring City Council Tuesday approved creation of a landfill/sanitation enterprise fund to give city officials and residents alike a more accurate accounting on just how much money is being spent to pick up trash and address growing landfill concerns.
