County clinic to open July 5

June 18, 2011

Arturio Trevino

Howard County residents will soon be able to take advantage of another provider of accessible primary health care.

The Howard County Health Center is set to open July 5. This will be the third location South Plains Rural Health Services, Inc. has opened since its inception in 1986. Other locations include Levelland and Lamesa.

Once fully operational the Big Spring location will offer medical, dental and pharmacy services.

“We are hoping to have the dental and the pharmacy section on board within a couple months after the initial open,” Clinic Manager Arturio Trevino said.
