County finalizing road repair projects

April 26, 2014

Howard County commissioners are close to finalizing plans for a multi-million dollar road renovation which, if all goes well, will begin this summer.

When they meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the county courthouse, commissioners will finalize an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation which will clear the way for that state agency to provide almost $4 million in grant money for county road repair.
