County transportation advisory board named

Howard County officials are setting into motion plans to obtain millions of dollars in grant money to help repair area roads.

During their Monday meeting, county commissioners set the bureaucratic machinery in motion for the county to apply to the Texas Department of Transportation for grant money to help repair county roads damaged by heavy oilfield-related traffic.
