Cup Cake War Saturday at museum

November 7, 2013

It was so much fun last year that they've decided to do it again.

The Heritage Museum is hosting its second annual Cup Cake Wars this Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon during the Christmas Tree Forest open house. The cupcakes will be judged on taste and decoration with any theme for Christmas, however this year's Christmas will be based on “Glitz, Glitter and Glamour 1930s Style.”

Each participant will need to bring a dozen completed cupcakes to the Museum at 510 Scurry between 10 a.m. and noon. Judging will then take place by a team of four judges at 1 p.m. The winner will be announced at 3 and guests can sample all of the cupcakes at that time. The winner must be present during the announcement.
