Daley Carrasco Franco, 40, of Odessa, formerly of Big Spring, died May 25, 2014, in Ector County. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Myers & Smith Chapel with Antonio Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born to Maria Elena and Jose Franco on May 2, 1974 in Pecos, Texas. He spent most of his life in Van Horn. He was a Catholic. He worked in the oil field as a welder.

He is survived by two sons, Emilio Franco of Alamores, Texas and Zachery Flores of Odessa; his mother, Maria Elena Lira and husband Joel of Big Spring; his father, Jose D. Franco of Van Horn; one sister, Imelda Ledford of Midland; and two brothers, Joe Franco and Bobby Franco both of Big Spring.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Argentina Pena, who died at the same time.
