Daniel Vera Flores, 44, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

He was born Aug. 7, 1968, in Stanton, Texas. Daniel was a longtime resident of Big Spring and worked as a roofer.

Survivors include five sons, Daniel S. Flores Jr. and wife Crystal, Terry J. Flores and wife Heather, Adam J. Flores and wife Stacie, Henry N. Flores and Jordan J. Flores, all of Big Spring; a daughter, Lauren J. Flores of Big Spring; his father, Longino M. Flores Sr. of Temple; a brother, Longino Flores Jr. and wife Joanna; two sisters, Gloria Flores and Virginia Sanchez and husband Johnny; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Estefana Vera; and his grandparents.
