Darlene Hickey, 59, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of Big Spring died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Mt. Olive Memorial Park Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hardman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Gail, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at the funeral home.

Darlene was born March 21, 1952, in Big Spring, Texas, and married Dean Hickey on Nov. 25, 2006, in Killeen. She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1989 and worked for many years as a dialysis nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Dean; one son, Matthew Douglass; one daughter, Tracy Sibole and son-in-law, James; one sister, Deniese Warner; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her son, Warren Swett, and her parents, Raphael "R.W." and Nora (Davis) Buchanan.
