David James Green

David James Green, 47, of San Antonio, formerly of Big Spring, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, in a San Antonio nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring with the Rev. Ken McIntosh, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

David was born July 20, 1967, in Syracuse, N.Y. He lived in Sweetwater for more than 30 years in a home provided by Home Community Service. He moved to San Antonio in July 2011.

Survivors include his mother, Fran Green of San Antonio; a sister, Laura Carusetta and husband, Jerry of San Antonio; one nephew; and one aunt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Green; and his grandparents, J.A. and Alice Faulkenberry and Peter and Laura Pandelly.

The family suggests memorials to the donor's favorite charity.
