David Rosales Marquez

David Rosales Marquez, 90, of Big Spring died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

David was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Big Spring and married Juanita Ramirez on June 26, 1988, in Big Spring. He worked in the street maintenance department for the city of Big Spring for 40 years, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Marquez of Big Spring; one son, Marcelino Chavez and wife Norma of Lenorah; one daughter, Mary Arguello and husband David of Big Spring; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aurelia Paredes, of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Chon and Guadalupe Marquez; and three brothers, Chon II, Arturo and Ricardo Marquez.
