Dennis Ausbie

Dennis Ausbie, 52, of Lubbock, formerly of Big Spring died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at his residence in Lubbock. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Mount Olive Memorial Park with the Rev. Holston Banks officiating.

He was born Sept. 4, 1960, in Big Spring, Texas, to Ruby Jewel (Scott) and James Edward Ausbie. He grew up in Big Spring and lived most of his life here. He relocated to Amarillo in 2006 and had most recently moved to Lubbock. He had worked for Price Construction and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Ausbie of Lubbock; three sons, Dennis Ausbie Jr., Dijuan Ausbie and wife Tina and Dominque and wife Sasha, all of Big Spring; one daughter, Shaince Ausbie of Bryan; four brothers, James Ausbie of Amarillo, Vernon Ausbie and Cornell Ausbie, both of Colorado City and Victor Pruitt of Big Spring; four sisters, Marilyn Williams and husband Alvin of Big Spring, Debra Ausbie and Cherilyn Ausbie and husband Marlon, all of Amarillo and Demeitris Pruitt of Big Spring; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rosetta Smith.
