Denver City too much for Forsan

FORSAN — The Forsan Lady Buffs had a hard time keeping their playoff hopes alive against Denver City Wednesday.
The Lady Buffs dropped a District 3-2A game as Denver City rolled, 53-37.
Forsan head coach Robert Hillger said Denver City was tall in the post and ultimately, that was his team’s downfall.
What the loss does is eliminate Forsan from playoff contention with two games left to play. The next game is at Stanton Friday at 6 p.m.

FORSAN — The Buffs fell to 4-6 in Distrct 3-2A play after a 62-46 loss to Denver City at home.
Patrick Robles and Kolten Self had 15 apiece, but it just wasn’t enough in Wednesday’s game. One of the big quarters for Denver City was the third, where Forsan was outscored 21-10.
