Despite concerns, Pops goes off without hitch

Call it the little fourth of July celebration that could, although Pops in the Park really can’t be described as little.

First, committee members for Big Spring’s Independence Day and fireworks display festivities struggled throughout the year to find financing for the $45,000 plus event. Struggled so much, the event almost didn’t happen until a last-minute donation by Superod came through.
