Dimas Young, 70, of Big Spring died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

She was born March 26, 1942, at Uvalde, Texas, to Juanita and Bonifacio Gonzalez. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was a lifetime resident of Uvalde until moving to Big Spring six months ago.

She is survived by one son, Bonifacio Young Sr. and wife Becky of Big Spring; one brother, Frank Gonzalez and wife Olivia of Big Spring; and four grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Young; and one sister, Esperanza Hernandez.
