Don Cunningham

Don Cunningham, 71, of Big Spring, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2012, at his residence. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 13, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Jim Binnix, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Don was born Jan. 23, 1941, in Big Spring, Texas. He moved to Wickett, Texas, when he was 6 years old and moved back to Big Spring, Texas, when he was 12. He attended Midway School and graduated from Coahoma High School in 1959. He met and married Jeannie Fleener in 1963. Don was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He worked at Welcome Well Service, United States Post Office, Cabot Corporation, Damson Gas Plant, A&M Composites, and retired from Weatherford.

He is survived by his wife Jeannie of Big Spring; two daughters: Jill Ringener and husband Philip and Jancy Cunningham, all of Big Spring, Texas. He has four grandchildren: Tiffany, Jared, and Janessa Ringener, and Jacy Jo Don Cunningham; two great grandsons: Kole James and Copper Ringener; one brother: Ronnie and wife Marisue Cunningham of Big Spring.

He was preceded in death by his parents Toby and Elsie Cunningham.

Pallbearers will be Brent Zitterkopf, Charley Ogle, Jason Ogle, Dillon Ogle, Philip Ringener, and Jared Ringener. The honorary pallbearers are Rich Fleener, Ronnie Cunningham, Chuck Ogle and Harold Aberegg.
