Doris Brewer, 90, of Midland died Monday, May 21, 2012, in a Midland nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel with Larry Henderson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Gilbreath Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Plainview, Texas.
Survivors include one son, Tom Brewer and wife Cherry of Midland; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Dorothy Henderson of San Angelo; three brothers, Hubert Gregg of Texas, Glenn Gregg of California and Lee Gregg of Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Brewer; and three brothers, Revis Gregg, L.C. Gregg and Pete Gregg.
