Dorothy 'Dotsy' Murray

Dorothy “Dotsy” Murray, 73, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her residence. Memorial services and interment in family plot will be at a later date in Fort Stockton.

She was born Jan. 15, 1941, in Pecos, Texas to Lenore and Tom McKenzie. She married Jim Murray on Sept. 24, 1983. They came to Big Spring from Big Lake in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. She was a homemaker, an artist and loved animals. She was a friend of Bill W. for over 31 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Murray of Big Spring; one daughter,Beth Brady of Wimberley, Texas; one son, Don Brady of Paso Robles, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Latard of Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
