Dorothy Helen Stanley, 87, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in a Midland nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Ken McMeans officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the funeral home.

She was born May 2, 1926, in Big Spring, Texas, and married John R. Stanley on May 11, 1946, in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death April 5, 1996.

Dorothy had worked for the Howard County Tax Assessor Collector and the First National Bank. She then worked for the T&P Federal Credit Union, where she retired as president after 21 years.

She was a member of College Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Kellough and husband Ron of Midland; four grandchildren, Brandon Hamblin and wife Misti and Christina McMillan and husband Scotty, all of Midland, Marty Hamblin of Waco and Tasha Kellough of Lubbock; and six great-grandchildren, Aeryn Hamblin, Madelyn McMillan, Sydney McMillan, Ewen McMillan, Marty Hamblin and Alyssa Kellough.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
