Drucilla Board

Mrs. Drucilla Board, age 92, of Westbrook, died Friday, June 27, 2014, in a Big Spring care center. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Board was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Mitchell County, Texas, to P.E. and Ethel Board Clawson and had been a lifelong resident. She married Alva G. Board Dec. 14, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He preceded her in death July 14, 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westbrook Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Dwayne and wife, Dee Clawson of Coahoma and J.C. and wife, Frances Clawson of Guy, Ark.; three sisters, Louise Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla., Sybil Sparks of Corpus Christi, Texas, and LaRue and husband, Calvin Findisen of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, C.E. Clawson, and a sister, Lillian Sullivan.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
