Leigh Langley Duncan and Taylor Elliott Burns exchanged wedding vows Dec. 3, 2011, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.
The ceremony was officiated by Doctor Ronald Wesley Scates. A reception at Arlington Hall followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rita Kay Langley of Big Spring and Dallas and Mr. James Murray Duncan of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Langley of Big Spring and the late Mrs. And Mrs. Francis Murray Duncan of Winfield, La.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Pam Burns Davis and Mr. Mark Wayne Burns of Dallas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Paul Thomas Burns and the late Mr. Burns of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Clyde Elliott of Graham.
The bride wore a formal gown of ivory Chantilly lace, designed by Rivini for Stanley Korshak. The mermaid silhouette was fashioned with a delicately pleated Chantilly lace bodice and a soft organza skirt which fell to her gold Louboutin shoes.
Hand cut flowers adorned the front of her gown. To complete her ensemble, the bride wore a veil of sheer illusion that finished with an ivory corded edge that flowed gracefully beyond her chapel length train.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Attending as maids of honor were her two sisters, Ashley Francis Duncan and Kristen Marie Duncan. Bridesmaids included Amanda Burke, Jennifer Burns, Haley Carpenter, Rachel Ferguson, Emily Guy and Whitney Knouse.
The best man was Tommy Koons. The groomsmen included Will Allison, Chris Burns, Michael Collins, Luke Doramous, Scott Forman, Jake Francis, Stephen Mann and Robert Stone, junior.
The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School. She received a bachelor of arts in American History and a minor in business from The University of Texas in Austin. She is employed at Bracewell & Giuliani Law Firm in Dallas as a recruiting coordinator.
The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He received a bachelor of science in finance and accounting at TCU. He is a vice-president with the Park Cities Bank of Dallas.
Following their wedding trip to Anguilla, the couple will live in Dallas.
