Dylan Headrick, 17, of Big Spring, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Johnny Cockerham officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born March 2, 1997, in Big Spring and was a lifelong resident. He attended Big Spring schools and was working for Hi Tech as a casing inspector. Dylan enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his father, James Dewayne Headrick and wife, Tammy Kay; his mother, Jamie Rae Nelson; his wife, Alexis Bland; a daughter, Khloe Kaye Marie Headrick; two brothers, Tyler Smith and Austin Headrick; a sister, Shelbi Nelson; his paternal grandmother, Dolly “Nanny” Woodard; his maternal grandparents, Kaye Beck and James Feemster; and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, J. C. Woodward.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Smith, Austin Headrick, Nathan Feemster, Noel Hamilton, Gary Elliot and John Armstrong. All friends are considered honorary pallbearers.
